Our measure of commitment
In March 2008, MidState Medical Center announced that it had received approval from the State to move forward with construction plans for a $45 million, 100,000 square foot expansion project. The addition, with an expected completion date in 2010, will include a brand new Emergency Department complete with 54 private treatment spaces, as well as the construction of a four-story pavilion and new inpatient unit. Other facility upgrades include increased parking, covered patient drop-off area and shelled space for future growth. MidState’s expansion is a part of the hospital’s long-standing commitment to provide the communities it serves with a state-of-the art healthcare facility close to home that is able to meet the demand for our services. This expansion is just another example of our measure of commitment.
