Health Tip: Avoid Bug Bites
(HealthDay News) -- Enjoying the great outdoors can make for
good summer fun, but insect bites can make you itchy to come
The American Osteopathic Association offers this advice to help
keep bug bites at bay:
- Stay indoors at dawn and dusk, which are the most active times
- Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants to help protect skin from
- Apply insect repellant to skin, clothing, shoes and tents.
- Check frequented areas for insect nests and hives, and be sure
to stay away from them.
