Meet Our Providers: Martha Bertz, MD

Dr. Bertz has been seeing patients in an urgent-care general practice setting for over 20 years. Her work involves routine follow-up for chronic illness and treatment for acute illness or injury. She is a certified medical review officer and board-certified in urgent care by the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine. Dr. Bertz is also a member of the American Medical Association, Connecticut State Medical Society, New Haven County Medical Association, and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Bertz completed a combined 6-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and fulfilled her postgraduate training in general surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT.

David Booth, APRN

David Booth, APRN works hand-in-hand with Dr. Bertz providing ongoing support in the primary care setting. He has had clinical experience with a wide range of practices that focus on the care of adolescents and adults. David is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Connecticut Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Society. His educational training includes Utica College of Syracuse University, Adirondack Community College and Quinnipiac University, where he completed his Master's of Nursing to gain certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
