Affiliated with MidState Medical Center, MidState Medical Group is a multi-specialty group practice offering primary care (family practice and internal medicine), urgent care, and occupational medicine. We are committed to offering patients high quality, personalized care. All of our providers are board certified. We currently have two convenient locations: Southington & Yalesville.

MidState Medical Group is pleased to announce the opening of a primary care practice at 51 North Main Street in Southington. Providers will be Martha Bertz, MD, Jordan Goetz, MD, and Christina Plantier, PA. All are highly skilled medical professionals who are available to offer expert patient care. Dr. Bertz is board certified in urgent care by the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine, and Dr. Jordan Goetz is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Additionally, Christina Plantier is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. New patients are welcomed and most insurance is accepted. The MidState Medical Group Walk-In Center is more than just a convenient clinic. It’s the place to turn for immediate, expert medical care, without an appointment. The Walk-In Center is conveniently located at 60 Church Street in Yalesville.

When minor medical problems arise, we provide treatment for a wide range of conditions and illnesses: colds and sore throats, sinus pain and headaches, earaches and fevers, cuts and bruises, muscular aches and pains, sprains and minor fractures, rashes and minor burns, and other conditions. In addition to meeting minor urgent care needs, we can provide continuing care of chronic diseases. We also perform complete annual physicals, pre-operative physicals, and school/camp/sports physicals. Naturally, if you have a major medical emergency, we recommend that you seek treatment at the MidState Medical Center Emergency Department.

We make it as convenient as possible to get the help you need. Our normal business hours are Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For added convenience, you may schedule an appointment by calling 203 284 9099. We also offer extended hours (by appointment) and 24-hour physician on-call.
