Each year the Cancer Center at MidState hosts its Cancer Survivors' Day, a moving and inspirational event that draws nearly 300 cancer survivors. Together with their family members, cancer survivors experience an event that is truly a celebration of life. The event is traditionally held at Meriden's Hubbard Park, and includes children's activities, live music entertainment, refreshments, and the opportunity to hear survivors and caregivers speak about how cancer has changed their lives. Cancer Survivors' Day has been an integral part of MidState's cancer program since 2003, and every year, grows in numbers and community support.
