Cancer Survivors' Day

Each year, the Cancer Center operated by MidState Medical Center hosts its Cancer Survivors' Day, a moving and inspirational event that draws nearly 300 cancer survivors. Together with their family members, cancer survivors experience an event that is truly a celebration of life. The event, traditionally held at Meriden's Hubbard Park, includes children's activities, live music entertainment, refreshments and the opportunity to hear survivors and caregivers speak about how cancer has changed their lives. Cancer Survivors' Day has been an integral part of MidState's cancer program since 2003, growing every year in numbers and community support.
