• MidState Gala goes Bollywood

MidState is rolling out the red carpet for its guests on Saturday, October 19, when the hospital and the MidState Auxiliary will host its signature fundraising gala. This year's gala promises to be a spectacular evening overtaken by the vibrant colors and regal décor associated with the "Bollywood" culture. Guests will be treated to an open bar, gourmet five-course sit-down dinner, silent auction and dancing to the sounds of the band "Bock & Blu" and DJ Rico Entertainment.

Tickets are $175 each. Formal dress and black tie preferred.

• Auxiliary Annual Golf Tournament

The 29th Annual MidState Medical Center Auxiliary Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, June 17, at the Shuttle Meadow Country Club in Kensington. • Pink Partini Fashion Show

Planning for this year's ever-popular Pink Partini Fashion Show is already underway. The event will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, from 6 to 9 p.m. All proceeds benefit The Cancer Center at MidState. Read More

• Blooming Pink Celebration Garden

This special garden, in the shape of an awareness ribbon, is filled with thousands of pink tulips planted to honor, celebrate or memorialize those touched by cancer. Located on MidState's campus, this garden is not only an inspiration but also a symbol representing survivorship. Read More
