In this type of surgery, medical instruments are inserted into the nose endoscopically, rather than by cutting external structures. Equipped with cameras, these instruments let the surgeons use real-time, 3-D images to guide them through the nasal passages, making for a safer, more precise procedure and better outcomes. This minimally invasive technique is also much more comfortable for the patient than traditional procedures.
